As you sail through the famous Drake Passage, relax as you acclimate to the rhythm of the ocean. Join an introductory presentation by the team of tour guides in the state-of-the-art theater. As you prepare for your first landing, they will share with you their excitement about what's to come, as well as practical information about your polar expedition. Relax and enjoy bars, lounges, restaurants and wellness services on a cruise to Antarctica.

12/30/2023 Drake Passage

Today we will enter Antarctic waters and the excitement will begin to build as you search for your first iceberg. Head to the observation deck to spot seabirds such as the wandering albatross, which has the largest wingspan in the world. Indulge yourself in one of the nine restaurants on board, or order a gourmet meal in your cabin, your butler will be happy to help you with your choice.

When you see Antarctica for the first time, you will experience completely new feelings. See icebergs of various shapes and sizes created by nature; majestic ice-covered mountains rising thousands of meters from the ocean; try to spot the tail of a whale or seals sleeping on an ice floe.

Your expedition trip includes incredible activities such as Zodiac excursions, landings and shore hikes. You can also go kayaking and paddleboarding, which will be one of your favorite activities in Antarctica.

Be sure to bring your swimsuit. For many, the polar plunge is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a rite of passage for people embarking on an expedition to Antarctica.

One day you will be able to fly in a helicopter or dive in a submarine to be among the select few who have seen the Antarctic seabed.

Our ship is heading to Ushuaia. But the adventures don’t end there: we continue to watch whales and seabirds. The activities organized by the expedition team on board help us relive our journey in its entirety. You will also have plenty of time to exchange impressions and photos with your new friends. On the last evening you will have a farewell captain's dinner.
